New Year's Resolutions at It's a Ruff Life

It's a Ruff Life

Unlike Bella, from it's a ruff life, I'm not one for making many New Year's resolutions.  I certainly don't go for the ones everyone seems to set regarding weight and clothes size.  I have set one resolution though to double up on the number of sky dives I do this year from 13 to 26 - that should be awesome fun.

My resolution is way better than Max's.  I'm going to double up on my number of spa visits and dance classes at Canine Calm; I've heard there's a new dance craze based on 'Dance with 1000 stars', bellatastic or what?

New Year at It's A Ruff Life

I hope everyone is looking forward to a terrific new year.  We are at It's A Ruff Life.  We have some great things planned including the launch of our new website and at least another 3 explosive, funny novels for you to enjoy.

Bella's been looking at some new free games for this blog for you to play.  Shame about the snow line game it seems to stop working at the fourth level.  The other games have been great fun.  I've beaten Bella at all of them.

Enjoy your New Year celebrations.

We are having a party at Beckingham Grange.  I'll have great fun annoying Bella and her friends.  Max

What gifts did you get for Christmas?

it's a ruff life

I hope you all had a nice Christmas.  We did at it's a ruff life; I bought Max a big bag of fizzy popping candy.  It was so funny he kept foaming at the mouth and drooling over everywhere; at one time Lord A banned him from the room because he was messing everything up.  I just laughed.

Max bought me some house slipper socks, they are a gaudy green colour.  I won't wear them; they are not at all stylish and they are not at all glittery. I'll give them to the animal shelter.

Maria bought me a fab new hat.  Ursula bought me a pair on sparkly pink paw bracelets.  I'm already wearing them, they are so 'bellarish'.

Lord A bought me a funky new musical bed; I can set it to play any music I like; it's 'bellatastic'

Have a Fun Christmas Eve Play some Fun Free Kids Games

Merry Christmas

Hi everyone well we don't have to wait any longer for Santa to arrive.  I'm so excited, I'll find it so hard to sleep tonight.  I can't wait for Santa's sleigh to land on the roof of Beckingham Grange, at it's a ruff life.  Santa will need an extra sack for all the presents I wanted on my Christmas list.

Max is excited too, which surprised me especially as he's only asked for a couple of presents.  This just goes to show. as I already new that a female doglet's needs are way more important than a common dog's needs.

I'm going to play my games now, the one on this blog.  Why don't you join me.  Click each page link above to take you to each amazingly fun game.

Max has just asked me to wish you all a very happy Christmas.

What's your Favourite Christmas Song?

To make sure that everthing's fair at Beckingham Grange in it's a ruff life I've decided that we should make a Christmas list of all our favourite Christmas songs.  There's no way that I'd want to listen to the type of music Max likes all the time.

Lord A said that he wanted everyone to be involved including Maria our house keeper, Seamus our chef and Mr Parchment our butler.

I've made sure that my three favourite songs are at the top of the list, so that they will get played the most.  I've chosen I wish it could be Christmas everyday, jingle bell rock and rockin around the Christmas tree.

Max will probably pick something silly like when Santa got stuck up the chimney or a I want a hippopotamus for Christmas or the restroom door said gentlemen.

Let us know what is your favourite Christmas song.

Don't forget to click on the pages above to play the free games and do my Christmas quiz.

Play Christmas Holiday Games at It's a Ruff Life

Bella and I are so in the holiday mood at It's a Ruff Life.  Beckingham Grange looks wicked decked out in decorations and lots of twinkly lights.  I even have to admit that the Christmas tree in the main hall looks tons better since Bella changed my design; it's a good thing I don't get touchy about such things.

Bella has been an annoying nuisance so I challenged her to a computer game competition to shut her up.  Bella can't stand being last at anything and she is so competitive that she will never turn down a challenge when it comes from me.

We spent an afternoon playing the Christmas games on this site - they are really fun.  At first Bella was loosing in all the games but by the end of the competition Bella won the Christmas Meyhem game, that game reminds me a bit of what Bella's like in real life - CRAZY!  I won all the rest, so you can safely say that I was the overall winner.

To make the competition more fun Bella agreed to the proviso of whoever won waited on the other sibling for the whole of Christmas Day and Boxing Day.  Bella was so annoyed - I can't wait till Christmas Day!

Don't forget to play the free games we played. Click on each page above to access them.  You'll have great fun.

What is your favourite Christmas Game?

At Beckingham Grange over at It's a Ruff life things are getting really exciting as we get ready for Christmas.  The tree is now nicely decorated, thanks to ME, I'm Bella by the way.  Seasmus has been baking trays of hot mince pies for us to take out on our annual Christmas carol singing to the local elderly community projects tonight.  It's something that Lord Alfred does every year.  It's always a fun time as I get lots of attention.

I've just remembered I need to decide what games we are going to play over Christmas.  My fav game is Challenj - it is the funniest game ever.  I'm going to get Max to play so that he can make a fool of himself when he can't do the challenges. Yey Christmas I love it!

What Christmas games do you like to play? Let us know, they might be games we've never heard of.

While you're waiting for Christmas click on our Free Christmas games to play.  I love playing 'Deep Freeze' it's great fun freezing the baddies.  I wish it was Max I was freezing!

The Christmas Tree

Who at Beckingham Grange in It's a Ruff Life got it into their minds that letting Max help decorate the Christmas tree was a good idea?  Don't they realise that Max has an awful sense of style when it comes to fashion and elegance and, let's face it, the Beckingham Grange Christmas tree is a really big, important statement that says a lot about the people who own it, ME!

You should have seen the state it was in after he'd had his paws on it.  It was shambolic.  There was no star or angel on the top and who's ever heard of a Christmas tree without a star at the top - not many people, that's for sure!

The baubles were a miss mash of clashing colours and sizes thrown together on the branches without any thought whatsoever.  He even forgot to place our Santa and sleigh model on cotton wool under the tree.  It all looked wrong.

"It's a shambles," I said when he asked me what I thought, "You've ruined Christmas!"
"Don't be so melodramatic."
I felt like hitting him but turned away instead and went to my room to form a plan of how I would save Christmas.

That night, when everyone was asleep, I crept downstairs and rearranged every decoration on the tree.  I also added a beautiful lighted star and garlands of small golden baubles around it.  It looked 'bellatastic' like everything I do; after all it had to look perfect and only I do that.

Secret Santa at It's a Ruff Life

Over at It's a Ruff Life things are getting really exciting.  Today we had secret Santa at the Doglet Academy.  I bought a gift for Louise and wrapped it in the most amazing paper ever; it was a picture of the most expensive perfume you can buy - a touch of class or what!

We all had to gather in the hall at lunchtime and they even had Santa come to deliver not just the secret Santa gifts, but also proper Santa gifts that he brought for each one of us.  It was very 'bellasome!'.

I was so excited when Santa called out my name.  I danced up to the stage and jumped about a bit while I waited for my presents to be given to me.  I bet I'll be disappointed, I thought.  I'll have to practice my, this is the most wonderful thing I've ever received face.

Santa passed me a gift that was wrapped in newspaper that only had the sports coverage on the front; who in their right mind would wrap My gift in grotty newspaper?  My enthusiasm dropped to the minus scale.

Precariously I opened my gift but it was fabulous a paw pad card for buying my fav music.  Santa's gift was way more ordinary - It was a standard fur brush set. I can put that in a charity collection after Christmas, I thought as I carried my gifts back to my place.

We finished the afternoon off with a disco and party.

My own Language

At it's a ruff life, in the popularity stakes I am way above Max.  I out shine him at everything - intelligence, looks, breeding, fashion sense, friends etc - the list is endless.  I mean I even have my own vocabulary - take a look

bellarish - it's wonderful, like me
bellatastic - same as above
bellalicious - the best tasting thing ever

How many other canine's can say they have their own awesome set of words named after them?  You and I know the answer to that question and it certainly isn't Max!

What's on Your Christmas List?

There was only one topic of conversation at the Doglet Academy today from It's a Ruff Life- What's on your Christmas wish list?

Mine's awesome, as you'd expect, and of course it includes a year's membership and the most wonderful place on earth - Canine Calm the top canine spa and fitness centre, plus the usual stuff, clothes, shoes, music, did I mention accessories?

Some dogs only wanted collars, bowls, leads - how boring!

So I thought I'd ask you:

How amazing is your Christmas Wish List? Let me know what you asked Santa for.

Bella's Being Kind!

Because it's so close to Christmas don't forget that if you are still looking for a great Christmas present It's A Ruff Life is an awesomely funny book to read.

I thought it was too good to last.  Bella started being kind to me, I don't mean actually acknowledging the fact that I live in the same house as her, but actually taking time to talk to me.  Wonders will never cease!

She asked me if I'd try out some food she'd made, you firstly had to pick me up off the floor at the thought of Bella actually doing something other than fur, nails, fashion and dancing, of course I said yes, what dog would turn it's nose up at free food?  Oh I forgot, Bella who is always watching her weight, only food at meal times for her.

She gave me a bowl of fresh salmon mousse - it was okay but nothing amazing; I don't know why she gets so excited over salmon mousse,  I expect because Seamus makes it better than she does.

Anyway to cut a long story short this kindness lasted two weeks and for the whole of the two weeks, at some point in the day, a bowl of salmon mousse was placed under my nose.  By the end of the two weeks I was glad if I never saw another salmon again.

It was only when Bella got back from the academy that I realized why she had been so nice to me.  She had challenged Lemondrop to a salmon mousse bake off and I had been the official, this is not perfected yet, taster.

I said that I was glad that she had won, if only to stop eating bland tasting salmon mousse, I didn't tell her that part.  It didn't matter though the thoughtfulness I'd now come use to finished as abruptly as it had started.  I am now only her adopted brother to be tolerated, it feels so good to have things back to normal.

Salmon Mousse

I don't know if you know but one of my favourite foods is the fresh salmon mousse that Seamus, the chef from Beckingham Grange in it's a ruff life, makes for me.  It's 'delish'.  Well I got into an argument with Lemondrop at The Doglet Academy about who makes the best salmon mousse in the world.  I said to my, temporarily not now VBF, you wouldn't know the world's best salmon mousse if you sat in it. Any way to cut a long story short I somehow challenged her to a salmon mousse contest.  I told her that not only am I a salmon mousse tasting expert, I am also the world's top canine salmon mousse chef.  I didn't think she'd take me seriously.

I've been practicing everyday how to make salmon mousse and now I'm fed up of it and it's still another week to go before we have our big competition.

Seamus has said that he'll be on on the judging panel but so is Lemondrop's chef, so I've got to find some way of winning the competition.  I can't let Lemondrop win - I'll be the laughing stock of the school and there's no way I'm going to let that happen.

I've just had a brilliant idea - I'll slip some anchovy sauce in her mixture while she's not looking, it will make it taste really salty.

                                                              *   *   *   *   *   *

Guess what?  My stupendous plan worked - I won the competition, I am now the official world's best salmon mousse chef, and I didn't even have the time to doctor Lemondrop's mixture - It turns out that Lemondrop forgot to bring the fresh lemon juice and apparently that made all the difference - Yey ME! Totally BELLARISH or what!

Don't forget to check out It's a Ruff Life for some of my most amazing adventures.  The book will make a great Christmas gift!

Land Yacht Racing - Wicked

Met up with a group of friends yesterday in it's a ruff life and we went land yacht racing.  It was WICKED.  We raced across the field blown by high winds and massive sails.  It was awesome.

Those things are really difficult to steer at top speed and a couple of times a few of us overturned the carts.  We weren't really hurt; just a few bruises but it was well worth it.

I think I might take land yacht racing up as a new hobby.  It's great for developing coordination and lightening fast reflexes, which are essential for capturing the world's most dangerous criminals.

Check out my really neat adventure now; you'll love all the action.

A Breath of Fresh Air

In it's a ruff life I went for a long cross country run this morning.  It was great to get fresh air through my nostrils instead of the awful sickly, sweet, smelling perfume that Bella wears.  There are enough flowers around Beckingham Grange without Bella smelling like one as well.

While I was out I found an abandoned case; I sniffed it and could tell that the case was booby trapped.  It smelt of the powder paint that is used to protect money in transit.

I pressed my paw cuff, took out some plastic finger print capturing discs and placed them on the case. I used the scanning device on my cuff to capture the images and upload them on to the M16 database, but nothing useful came back.

I had to cut short my run to take the case back home so that C could pick it up and take it back to MI6 for their forensic's team to work on.

It looks like I'll have another case to work on at the same time I'm keeping Lord Alfred under close surveillance.  I can't wait to get started.

The Doglet Academy

Yeah!  Lord A from It's a Ruff Life, has finally got the point that I want to go to 'The Doglet Academy.  So he should after all the ads and leaflets I've sent him by email.  I start next week and so does my VBF Lemondrop.  I can hardly wait.  It should be great FUN.

Lord A thinks that it's just a free style dancing dog training school, but it's way more than that.  It has an awesome fashion course - is that for me or what?  It has a dog obedience class - boring!  I'll be sure to miss out on that one; it'll be a totes complete waste of my time.

                                             * * * * *

Ursula, my paid guardian and human friend, has just brought me back from my first day at 'The Academy'.  I've already made 5 new friends, I'm so popular.  I've decided to set up a select group called 'The Bella Belles'.  One of my new friends is called Cassie, she's not very fashionable YET, but we can work on that, said to me,  "Bella you wear such awesome clothes and you're very pretty."
"I know," I said.  I just had to agree with her; it is the truth after all.  The Bella Belles will soon be the most popular group in 'The Academy'.

I'm planning a sleepover for 8 of my friends; we'll have a party, music, watch human girlie movies and paint each others' paw nails - it will be such good, noisy fun.  It will drive Max nuts!

Are you ready for the most exciting, funny book EVER!  Go and checkout my first full length amazing story,  You'll think I'm awesome like those nice people on Amazon have said.
