After finally finishing my mammoth 4000mg a day of antibiotics my left leg is now looking more like the right one.  I am now hobbling around without crutches, apart from climbing the stairs, and the foot still feels a little like a penguin foot because the joint is still so tight; I'm working on exercising that every day.  So luckily things are getting back to normal.
